Shipping Policy
Shipping Policy – Victory Catering Equipment

At Victory Catering Equipment, we are committed to providing fast, reliable, and secure delivery of catering equipment and supplies throughout South Africa. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered to our customers.

1. Delivery Areas

Victory Catering Equipment delivers to customers nationwide across South Africa, including major metropolitan areas, regional centres, and selected outlying locations. Delivery availability may vary depending on the size of the product, courier service coverage, and accessibility of the delivery address.

For deliveries to remote or rural areas, additional transit time and delivery charges may apply.

2. Order Processing

Orders are processed once payment has been successfully received and verified. Standard processing times are typically between 1–3 business days for in-stock products.

Orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or after business hours will be processed on the next business day.

During peak periods, promotional events, supplier delays, or unforeseen circumstances, processing times may be extended. Customers will be notified if significant delays are expected.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated based on several factors, including:

Delivery destination
Product dimensions and weight
Order value
Courier service requirements
Special handling requirements for large or fragile equipment

Shipping charges will be displayed during checkout or provided via quotation for oversized items before the order is finalized.

Victory Catering Equipment reserves the right to adjust shipping costs where courier surcharges, remote-area fees, or special delivery arrangements apply.

4. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:

Major Cities: 1–5 business days
Regional Areas: 3–7 business days
Remote Locations: 5–10 business days

These delivery estimates are provided as guidelines only and may be affected by factors outside our control, including weather conditions, courier delays, public holidays, strikes, road closures, or operational disruptions.

While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, Victory Catering Equipment cannot guarantee delivery dates.

5. Large and Heavy Equipment Deliveries

Certain catering equipment, refrigeration units, industrial appliances, and custom-manufactured products may require specialized transport services.

For these products:

Delivery schedules may differ from standard shipping times.
Additional handling or freight charges may apply.
Customers may be required to arrange suitable access for delivery vehicles.
Deliveries may be made to ground floor or curbside locations unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that equipment can be safely moved into the intended installation area.

6. Delivery Address Requirements

To ensure successful delivery:

A complete physical address must be provided.
Accurate contact information must be supplied.
Someone must be available to receive and sign for the delivery during business hours.

We do not guarantee delivery to P.O. Boxes for large or courier-shipped items.

Any delays, additional costs, or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect address information will be the customer’s responsibility.

7. Order Tracking

Once an order has been dispatched, customers may receive a shipment confirmation and tracking information where available.

Tracking details will allow customers to monitor the status and estimated arrival of their shipment through the designated courier service.

8. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers are encouraged to inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.

Before signing for the shipment, please verify:

The correct items have been delivered.
Packaging is intact and undamaged.
No visible defects or transit damage are present.

If any damage is evident upon delivery:

Note the damage on the courier’s delivery receipt.
Take photographs of the packaging and product.
Notify Victory Catering Equipment within 24 hours of delivery.

Failure to report damage promptly may affect claims relating to transit damage.

9. Delayed Deliveries

Although every effort is made to meet estimated delivery timeframes, delays may occasionally occur.

Victory Catering Equipment shall not be liable for delays caused by:

Courier company disruptions
Adverse weather conditions
Industrial action or strikes
Customs or regulatory inspections
Supplier shortages
Events beyond our reasonable control

Customers will be informed where significant delays are known.

10. Failed Delivery Attempts

If delivery cannot be completed because:

No one is available to receive the shipment,
Access to the property is restricted,
Incorrect delivery details were supplied,

the courier may attempt redelivery or return the shipment to the depot.

Additional delivery charges arising from failed delivery attempts may be charged to the customer.

11. Ownership and Risk

Ownership of goods transfers to the customer once full payment has been received.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon successful delivery and acceptance of the shipment at the designated delivery address.

12. International Shipping

At present, Victory Catering Equipment primarily serves customers within South Africa.

For export enquiries or international shipping requests, customers are encouraged to contact our sales team directly to discuss availability, freight options, duties, taxes, and shipping requirements.
